Jason Wright
Jason Wright is the top basketball trainer in the nation. Jason currently trains Professional players and teams in 20 different countries and is currently skill development Coach for the LA Sparks.

He brings a strong sense of discipline and creativity to the hardwood. His students are some of the most fundamentally sound AAU, high school, collegiate and professional basketball players in the world. As a former Division 1 athlete at the University of New Orleans, Jason earned the respect from his peers through his intense work ethic and hard-nosed approach to the game. He has competed against such NBA greats as Derek Fisher, Allen Iverson and Jason Kidd, played professionally overseas in Europe, and was a successful walk-on at the Seattle Supersonics training camp before seriously injuring his achilles tendon.

Tamara McDonald
Head Coach Tamara McDonald begins her second season at the helm of the Citrus College Basketball Team. McDonald is a former Pepperdine star and assistant coach at nearby Cal Poly Pomona. She was a McDonald’s High School All-American and the West Coast Conference Player of the Year for the Waves.

McDonald prepped locally at Chaffey High School in Ontario where she put together a stellar high school career including the aforementioned McDonald’s High School All-American honors. Upon graduation, McDonald matriculated to Pepperdine, where she led the Waves to three NCAA appearances and one NIT appearance. McDonald was named the WCC Player of the Year in 2003 and become just the second Pepperdine player to earn the honor.

Following her collegiate career, McDonald played professionally oversees in Germany for a few seasons. After her playing career came to an end, McDonald began coaching with her first stint coming at Calabasas High School where she was the Head Girls Coach. In 2006-2007, McDonald served as the associate head girl’s basketball coach at Malibu High School leading them to the CIF tournament.

In 2007, McDonald made the move to the college level at Cal Poly Pomona. McDonald spent the last three seasons with the Broncos as an assistant coach, helping lead them to their first NCAA Tournament berth in 2010 since 2005.

McDonald has worked in special education with behavior modification for both the Santa Barbara and Las Virgenes school districts, and holds a bachelor’s of science degree in physical education from Pepperdine. McDonald also graduated from the NCAA Women’s Coach Academy.

Overseas
-Played professionally in Thessaloniki Greece the past two seasons
-led team in scoring, assists, and steals first year with 17 points, 4.5 assists and 3.2 steals per game

Brien Brennan
Brien is currently an Assistant Coach at Fullerton JC. Brien works side by side with Jason Wright , one of the nations premier basketball trainers. Brien trains some of Southern Californias premier basketball talent on the mens and womens side. Brien also this summer helped run USC's mens elite camp as well as Orange Countys elite camps.

Brian is a graduate of Loara High School in Anaheim California. Brennan is in the top 10 all—time leader board in several categories at Loara high school including; points scored, career assist, and career steals. Brien represented his high school as a senior in both the Orange County all star game and the LA vs Orange County all-star games. Brien played at Cypress College and then briefly at Regis University before returning home to begin his coaching/training career. Brennan was also the Assistant Coach at Cypress College where he was in charge of the offense which was in the top 10 scoring offense in the state.

Mike Guzman
Coach Guzman has been with Intensity from the start. He has a tremendous background coaching at many of the local High Schools.

He is currently the Athletic Director at Esteban Torres High School in East Los Angeles. Mike is also the Head Varsity Boys Basketball Coach at Torres.

As a graduate of Loyola High School and Occidental College, Coach Mike received a great education, not only in the classroom, but on the court as well. By combining his Southern Section background with his LA City Section coaching experience, Coach Mike's SGV teams mirror this style of play. Hard nosed on defense, and precise execution on offense make his teams a pleasure to watch. Coach Mike brings this knowledge and respect of the game to all the clinics he is a part of. We are fortunate to have him as a clinician and as a coach.

Coach Mike is a Top Intensity trainer and also coaches SGV teams.

Chirag Modha
Chirag joins the Intensity Staff with a strong background in Strength and Conditioning, with focus on dynamic warm-up, flexibility, balance, and coordination. He graduated from Cal State Fullerton with his Master of Science in Kinesiology.

Chirag also focuses on different aspects of movement performance (agility, explosive linear & lateral speed, vertical jump training) and designing sport specific drills for athletes.

Joe Kikuchi
Coach Joe Kikuchi is a private trainer, and has worked with the best athletes in the Tri-City area. He has coached all levels at Mark Keppel High School Boys and Girls Programs.

Coach Joe has been working with the SGV athletes for many years. He also coached for several local club teams, and has been teaching and holding clinics throughout Southern California. Coach Joe has been coaching for 20 plus years and has been highly respected by his peers and athletes across Southern California.

Joe brings experience and a high level of basketball knowledge and training to all his athletes and surrounding coaches. He has been known for his big man post camps and specialty clinics.

Andre Smith
A graduate of Southern California College with a B.A. in Business Management, and Masters from National University, Smith has a well-rounded background as a player, teacher, and coach.

While playing basketball at Southern California College, he was named MVP, All-League, All-District, and “Headliner of the Year” by the Orange County Register.

Prior to his days at Southern California College, Smith was a standout player for the FC basketball program playing under Roger See and FC Hall of Fame coach Ezra Van Horn. As a Hornet, he was named MVP and earned the coaches award scoring 508 points in the 1981-82 season. Smith played professional basketball overseas from 1985-1992. He served as head coach of the L.A. Stars/L.A. Aftershock in the A.B.A. from 2004-2006.

Smith was the associate head coach at Riverside Community College. While at Riverside, he helped guide the Tigers to a conference championship, as well as a spot in the Elite 8 in 2004, along with a Final Four appearance in 2001. Smith also served as head coach at Perris High School (1998-2001), guiding his team to the second round of the CIF playoffs from 1998-2001, and a league championship in 1998. He was also the head coach at San Bernardino High School (1994-1998) and guided his team to the CIF Southern Section Quarterfinal in 1997 and the CIF Second Round in 1994

Corbin Jung
Corbin Jung played at San Marino High School.

Brandon Lott
Brandon Lott (B-Lott) is one of Intensity's Ball Handling clinicians.

Brandon was the #1 3-point shooter in his conference at Wiley College in Texas and was #1 in the state at Ohlone College.

Rey Diamond
Rey has been coaching and training AAU athletes for many years. Many of his athletes have reached Division 1 status.

Eric Yung
Eric Yung is our Point Guard specialist. He was a 4 year starter at Upland HS. After high school he joined the Chaffey College and SGV basketball coaching staffs.

He is currently finishing up his bachelor's degree in Kinesiology at Cal State Fullerton where he is an assistant strength and conditioning coach. After school he is hoping to play basketball in China.
